US EMBASSY SELECTS BOHOL FOR ENGLISH PROGRAM

The Province of Bohol has been selected to participate in the English Access Program of the U.S. Embassy’s Regional English Language Office Manila, an initiative aimed at strengthening students’ English proficiency, leadership skills, and digital literacy.

According to Bohol Governor Erico Aris Aumentado, the provincial government expressed its deep gratitude to the U.S. Embassy for choosing Bohol as a program beneficiary, noting that the initiative will greatly help students, especially the youth, by providing them with valuable educational opportunities.

The English Access Program is a strong partnership between the U.S. Embassy’s Regional English Language Office and the Department of Education (DepEd).

It highlights the importance of collaboration in addressing the needs of young learners through quality education.

Aumentado also recalled the visit of U.S. Ambassador to the Philippines MaryKay Carlson to Bohol last year, which underscored the strong relationship between the province and the U.S. Embassy. Through this partnership, programs with direct and long-term benefits for the community have been developed.
