116 AETA SCHOLARS IN PAMPANGA GET CASH AID

At least 116 Aeta scholars received educational financial support from the provincial government of Pampanga to continue their college education.

Governor Dennis ‘Delta’ Pineda led the distribution of P5,000 and P10,000 educational assistance to the Aeta student beneficiaries.

The Aeta student beneficiaries received P5,000 and P10,000 educational assistance.

The Aeta scholars are taking up Bachelor of Science in Criminology (25), Bachelor of Science in Accountancy (1), Bachelor in Elementary Education (18), Bachelor in Hospital Management (2), Bachelor of Science in Nursing (2), Bachelor of Science in Radiology (1), Bachelor of Science in Aircraft Maintenance, Bachelor of Science in Agriculture (5), Bachelor of Science in Sociology (10), Bachelor of Science in Social Work (43), Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (2), Bachelor of Science in Industrial Technology (2), Technical Livelihood Education (1), and Bachelor in Secondary Education (3).

Pineda said the provincial government will continue this educational program for the Aeta children and youth because he believes this would help uplift the lives of the indigenous peoples (IPs) in the upland communities of Porac, Floridablanca, and Mabalacat City.

Joining the governor in the distribution were 2nd District Board Member Fritzie David- Dizon, PCL President and Board Member Cherry Manalo, ABC President and Board Member Renato Mutuc, Special Assistant to the Governor and PDRRM Officer Angelina Blanco and PWSDO Head Elizabeth Baybayan.

The Aeta scholars also received hygiene kits from the Office of the Civil Defense (OCD).
