#TakeTheLEAP: LEAP 2026 brings Lasallians together through service and collaboration

LEAP 2026: Isang Nayon, Isang Layunin brought together the Lasallian community through a week-long celebration of service, collaboration, and holistic development from June 19 to 26 at De La Salle University.

Anchored on the Lasallian value of service, this year’s program emphasized empathy, collaboration, and shared commitment to the common good, encouraging students to learn and grow together beyond the classroom.

Throughout the six-day celebration, the Lasallian community took part in a diverse lineup of activities, featuring five flagship events and a total of 135 classes organized by various university organizations.

The event featured LEAP 2026: Film Fest, in partnership with TBA Studios, where students watched the Filipino films I’m Drunk, I Love You and Dormitoryo. LEAP 2026: Hello, Love, Latte, conducted with Latitude Bean+Bar, introduced participants to the basics of coffee preparation and latte art through hands-on workshops.

Students also joined the LEAP 2026: Own the Beat — Zumba Experience, led by DLSU Physical Education professor Jacklyn Toldoya and content creator Ian Mark Kamangkang, also known as the Pitik Queen, promoting physical fitness through dance-based exercise sessions.

Meanwhile, LEAP 2026: Lingkod Bayan: Pagpapasiklab ng Diwa ng Paglilingkod featured talks on leadership, civic engagement, and community service by PJ Hernandez, Paolo Calalang, and Teddy Baguilat.

Participants also took part in traditional Filipino games through LEAP 2026: Sigla’t Alaala—Palarong Pinoy, reflecting the spirit of bayanihan and collective effort.

Organized by the De La Salle University Council of Student Organizations, LEAP is an annual university program that promotes holistic student development through interactive and community-centered activities.
