ARAGONES VOWS TO GO AFTER LAGUNA PROSTITUTION GANG

An alleged Facebook page where members of the group can order women for sexual services in exchange for money was discovered by a member of the Laguna Youth Patrollers and was immediately reported to Laguna Philippine National Police (PNP) for appropriate action.

“Sa mga nasa likod nito, titiyakin namin na mananagot kayo sa batas,” Governor Sol Aragones said on her video reel post.

According to initial reports, the page was allegedly being used to advertise women and targeting minors for sexual services within the province.

“Hindi namin kayo tatantanan.”

“Hindi namin kayo tatantanan,” Aragones added.

In response, the Laguna PNP has launched an investigation with the assistance of Cybercrime Unit to identify the individuals behind the operation and determine possible violations of the law. Authorities encountered a 16-year-old victim who gave her rate from P2,000 to P10,000 for overnight service.

“Sobrang hirap po kasi ng buhay namin, kaya ko po nagawa ito.”

Authorities are urging the public to remain vigilant when using online platforms and to report any suspicious activities that may involve human trafficking, online sexual exploitation, or other illegal operations.

The incident highlights the vital role of the Laguna Youth Patrollers, a provincial initiative that empowers young people to promote responsible journalism, ethical social media use, and active community engagement by reporting issues that threaten public safety and welfare.
