PRC, NISSAN SEND AID TO SARANGANI QUAKE VICTIMS

Nissan Philippines Inc. (NPI) and its employees donated to the Philippine Red Cross (PRC) to strengthen the relief and recovery efforts for families affected by the Magnitude 7.8 Sarangani earthquake.

“This partnership is very important to us. At Nissan, we are guided by our purpose of enriching people’s lives as we pursue our vision of delivering mobility intelligence for everyday life. While we are known for our vehicles and technologies, we also believe our responsibility goes beyond mobility. It means supporting the communities where we live and work,” said NPI President Yoshinori Kanazawa.

“While we are known for our vehicles and technologies, we also believe our responsibility goes beyond mobility. It means supporting the communities where we live and work.”

PRC Chairman and CEO Dick Gordon said, “The Philippine Red Cross can only move as fast as the compassion of people who choose to help. We sincerely thank Nissan Philippines and its employees for once again standing with the Philippine Red Cross in helping families affected by disaster.”

“This contribution will strengthen our response in Sarangani and enable us to deliver timely humanitarian assistance to those who need it most,” Gordon added.

“Every donation makes a meaningful difference in our ability to serve.”

PRC Secretary General Dr. Gwendolyn Pang added, “Every donation makes a meaningful difference in our ability to serve. Nissan Philippines’ contribution will help us continue delivering relief and essential humanitarian services to families as they recover from the Sarangani earthquake.”

A longtime humanitarian partner of the PRC, Nissan Philippines also supported families affected by the Cebu earthquake in 2025 and strengthened the PRC’s emergency response fleet through the donation of three Nissan Navara pickup trucks in 2020.
