The Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority Ecology Center recently bagged the prestigious award for Best Ecological Solid Waste Management Practices at the Environmental Summit 2026, held last August 19, 2026, at the Royce Hotel and Casino in Clark, Pampanga.
This accolade is a testament to the SBMA’s unwavering commitment to environmental stewardship and sustainable development as it highlights the Agency’s dedication to advancing circular economy initiatives that promote a cleaner and greener future.
The recognition not only celebrates the hard work and innovative solutions implemented by the Agency thru the Ecology Center, but also acknowledges its strong collaboration with Freeport stakeholders, partners, and supporters who have played an integral role in the success of the Center’s Solid Waste Management programs.
