Clark showcased golf fairways, wellness retreats, adventure trails, education tourism, and Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions (MICE) facilities at the Philippine Business Mission 2026 Xiamen leg on August 19 held at the Intercontinental Xiamen.
Organized by the Tourism Promotions Board Philippines (TPB), the event positioned Clark for Chinese travelers seeking premium leisure and study experiences.

Under Atty. Agnes VST Devanadera, Clark Development Corporation elevates the Freeport globally — leveraging Clark International Airport as strategic advantage and rallying tourism related investors to expand linkages to international markets.
“Clark is a beautiful place. Hopefully, we will see more connectivity from Clark International Airport,” Consul General Winston Dean Almeda said in an interview at the sidelines of the mission, recalling his motorbike ride to Clark in 2023.

He reported a 65 percent rise in Chinese arrivals since January, following the 14‑day visa‑free entry policy. Expansion to other gateways is under active study, with the visa measure seen as part of broader connectivity plans.
“You have a strong partner here in Xiamen. We stand ready to assist you and partner with you in making sure that Clark Development [Corporation] is able to accomplish its mandate,” Almeda added, affirming support for CDC.

Almeda noted that the Philippine Consulate General in Xiamen, established 31 years ago, works closely with counterparts in Fujian to foster economic and business partnerships.
Clark recorded 32.6 million visitors in 2025, ₱43.47 billion in spending, nearly 3,000 MICE events, and ₱372 billion in investments — sustaining over 1,200 locators and more than 151,000 jobs.
