ADIONG INAUGURATES NEW OPEN GYM IN MARAWI CITY

In a significant step towards improving educational facilities in the province, Lanao del Sur Governor Mamintal ‘Bombit’ Alonto Adiong Jr. inaugurated a new Open Gymnasium and participated in the Turn-Over Ceremony at Jamiatu Janoubel Fillibbien Incorporated (JJFI) in Poona Marantao, Marawi City. 

The event was funded by the provincial government, reflecting the administration’s ongoing commitment to bolstering educational infrastructure.

Accompanying Adiong were Provincial Engineer Dimasira ‘Ote’ Macabando Jr., Chairperson of Ulama Council, Aleem Ansary Abdulmalik, and several employees from the Provincial Engineer’s Office, all of whom played a crucial role in the realization of the project. 

The Open Gym is expected to serve as a multifunctional space for various activities, promoting not only physical fitness but also community engagement among students.

During his address at the ceremony, the governor expressed his heartfelt gratitude for the warm invitation and the opportunity to be part of such a momentous occasion. He reiterated the provincial government’s mission to enhance the quality of education for students across the region. 

“This Open Gym is just one of the many initiatives we are undertaking to support our educational institutions.”
