ALBANO GIVES CASH AID TO LUNA, ISABELA RESIDENTS

Isabela Governor Rodito Albano III led the distribution of financial assistance to BRO-Ed scholars, I-RISE beneficiaries, and tobacco farmers in Luna town.

477 BRO-Ed scholars received their scholarship allowance amounting to P1.46 million for the 1st semester of S.Y. 2022-2023.

“Gusto ko na ang mga anak niyo ay matupad ang kanilang mga pangarap sa buhay kasi doon kami sasaya.”

“Gusto kong kumita kayong lahat at yumaman. Gusto ko na ang mga anak niyo ay matupad ang kanilang mga pangarap sa buhay kasi doon kami sasaya,” Albano said.

Meanwhile, a total of P8 million from the tobacco excise tax share of the PGI was distributed to 322 tobacco farmers, each receiving P25,000.

Under the I-RISE livelihood assistance program, the provincial government distributed P1.69 million worth of livelihood support to 532 identified small vendors. One cooperative was also granted a total of P100,000 interest-free loan.

The provincial government has also started the distribution of the monthly 5-kg rice subsidy to tricycle drivers in the municipality.

“I plan to provide a monthly rice subsidy to persons with disabilities.”

Albano also disclosed his plans to provide a monthly rice subsidy to persons with disabilities (PWDs).
