ALBANO LEADS CASH AID DISTRIBUTION IN 2 ISABELA TOWNS

Isabela Governor Rodito Albano III led the distribution of financial assistance to the BRO-Ed scholars, I-IRISE beneficiaries, and tobacco farmers in Reina Mercedes, Isabela.

Bojie dahil pera niyo ‘yan.

The 689 BRO-Ed scholars received their scholarship allowance amounting to P2.1 million for the 1st semester of S.Y. 2022-2023.

Meanwhile, a total of P16.5 million from the tobacco excise tax share of the PGI was distributed to 663 tobacco farmers, each receiving P25,000.

Under the I-RISE livelihood assistance program, the provincial government distributed P1.7 million worth of livelihood support to 485 identified small vendors and to one cooperative.

The provincial government also continued the distribution of the monthly 5-kg rice subsidy to tricycle drivers in the municipality, which started in November, a fulfillment of Albano’s pledge to TODA members.
