Governor Edcel Greco Lagman joined the regional launching of the Violence and Injury Prevention Alliance (VIPA) held at the Albay Astrodome.
The event was spearheaded by the Department of Health Region 5 in partnership with Albay Provincial Health Office and other government agencies.
In his message, Lagman said this activity will raise awareness to all the bikers and other motorists regarding road safety measures.
“This alliance aims to lower the number of road accidents not just in Albay, but throughout the country.”

“If this happens, every constituent and traveler will somehow be assured of their safety,” he added.
Both bikers and drivers engaged in the discussion on road safety programs attended the event to further educate them on road traffic signs and other safety measures.
