ANAKALUSUGAN PUSHES FOR GREATER HEALTHCARE ACCESS

One year into its term, AnaKalusugan Party-list remains focused on providing healthcare access to every Filipino.

According to AnaKalusugan Party-list Representative Ray Reyes, AnaKalusugan conducted a total of 28 Medical Missions with more than 8000 beneficiaries across the country in the past year.

The party-list will continue to push for its proposed nursing scholarship program as well as additional taxes for sugar sweetened beverages to help fund the Universal Health Care (UHC) and promote healthier lifestyle among Filipinos.

Apart from medical missions, Rep. Reyes said AnaKalusugan continues to push for laws and policies that will improve public health.

He said that in the past year, AnaKalusugan Party-list filed 66 bills in Congress – the most notable of which is House Bill No. 0430 which aims to provide free check up covering blood chemistry and sugar once a year for every Filipino.

Apart from this, the lawmaker said the party-list will continue to push for its proposed nursing scholarship program as well as additional taxes for sugar sweetened beverages to help fund Universal Health Care (UHC) and promote healthier lifestyle among Filipinos.
