ARAGONES OPENS FREE DIALYSIS CENTER IN PAKIL

Laguna Governor Sol Aragones led the opening of a new Free Dialysis Center at the Gen. Cailles Memorial District Hospital in Pakil, expanding access to essential medical care for residents of the province, particularly those from the 4th District and nearby municipalities.

Aragones personally visited the hospital to inaugurate the newly established dialysis center and meet its first beneficiaries, accompanied by Dr. Odilon Inoncillo of the Provincial Health Office (PHO).

As part of the assistance, dialysis patients receive half a caván of rice every month, providing additional support to patients and their families undergoing regular treatment.

“Malaking tulong po na malapit na ang center sa amin dahil nakakatipid po kami sa pamasahe at may libreng bigas pa.”

One of the first beneficiaries expressed appreciation for the new facility, saying, “Malaking tulong po na malapit na ang center sa amin dahil nakakatipid po kami sa pamasahe at may libreng bigas pa.”

The lady governor assured the beneficiaries that the treatment and assistance are completely free.

“Walang sisingilin, walang bayad lahat, pati bigas libre.”

“Libre lahat. Sumbong nyo sa akin kapag may nagpabayad sa inyo. Walang sisingilin, walang bayad lahat, pati bigas libre,” she said.

The facility will provide free dialysis treatment to qualified patients, helping ease the financial burden of regular dialysis sessions while giving residents access to essential treatment closer to their communities.

It primarily serves residents of Laguna’s Fourth District, while also extending access to qualified patients from nearby municipalities.

The opening forms part of Aragones’ continuing efforts to expand free and accessible medical programs across Laguna. The Provincial Government is also working toward establishing additional dialysis centers in other provincial district hospitals to bring the service closer to more communities.

Alongside the dialysis program, the Provincial Government of Laguna continues to implement other free healthcare initiatives, including the distribution of medicines, vaccinations, and medical assistance for Lagunenses.

Through these programs, the provincial government continues to strengthen its healthcare system and provide practical support to families, particularly those requiring long-term medical treatment.

The opening of the Pakil Dialysis Center underscores its commitment to bringing essential healthcare closer to the communities that need it most.
