AUMENTADO, SMC TACKLE INVESTMENTS, JOBS FOR BOHOL

Bohol Governor Aris Aumentado recently met with San Miguel Corporation Chairman and CEO Ramon Ang in Manila.

“We discussed potential investment opportunities that will further drive economic growth, generate quality jobs, and expand sustainable development initiatives for Bohol, a designated UNESCO Global Geopark,” Aumentado said.

Joining the meeting was Cebu Governor Pamela Baricuatro, as both provincial leaders explored areas of collaboration with one of the country’s largest conglomerates to accelerate regional progress and unlock new opportunities for their respective provinces.

The meeting comes ahead of the anticipated signing of the SugBohol Memorandum of Agreement (MOA), a landmark partnership that will further strengthen the ties between Bohol and Cebu through enhanced cooperation in investment promotion, economic development, tourism, infrastructure, and other shared priorities.

Also present during the meeting were Cebu Provincial Investment and Promotions Office Chief Paulo Uy and Atty. Totol Batuhan.

“The Provincial Government of Bohol is committed to fostering a business-friendly environment.”

Aumentado underscored the Provincial Government of Bohol’s commitment to fostering a business-friendly environment and forging meaningful partnerships that create lasting opportunities for Boholanos, a priority aligned with its Strategic Change Roadmap.
