Weekends don’t have to be boring. Emerging media giant NET25 offers a solid roster of entertaining homegrown shows that will make no-gimik Saturdays and Sundays equally worthwhile.
Comedy and slice of life shows are particularly aplenty. The weekend viewing starts with “May Forever” (Saturdays, 7-8pm) headlined by tried and tested blockbuster duo Alessandra de Rossi and “Millennial Leading Man” Empoy Marquez. Marquez also regularly appears in “Ano’ng Meron Kay Abok?” (Sundays, 5-6pm).
The lighthearted show list includes “3-in-1” (Sundays, 8pm) which is packed with entertainment industry veterans Maricel Soriano, Erick Quizon and Epi Quizon. “Love, Bosleng and Tali” centers on the adventures of the real-life family Vic Sotto, Pauleen Luna-Sotto and daughter Tali.
Game show fans are not left out. “Tara Game Agad Agad” (Sundays, 7-8pm) features Aga Muhlach, Daiana Menezes and Yukii Takahashi and is full of interesting game segments. Lovers of music and dance, meanwhile, will be pleased with “Letters and Music” (Saturdays, 1-2pm) which is one of the country’s longest continuously-airing musical programs at thirteen years and still going strong. The show has been consistently praised for championing OPM music and for being a solid springboard of local talent.
NET25 maintains a comprehensive list of entertainment-focused shows to balance out its news and information content.
All of them are readily available to view via Digital Free TV Channel 28, Analog Free TV Channel 25 as well as through nationwide cable providers.
They are also free to enjoy and easily searchable at YouTube and through the NET25.com news and entertainment portal.
With the coming of the rainy season, these shows provide a rewarding and relaxing alternative to going out on weekends and give more reason to stay in at home.
