The Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) rolled out the Taxpayer Portal (TP Portal) to Large Taxpayers covered by the Ease of Paying Taxes (EOPT) Act, as implemented by Revenue Regulations No. 8-2024, expanding the Bureau’s digital services to provide taxpayers with a streamlined and centralized platform for managing their tax-related transactions.
The availability and rollout expansion of the Taxpayer Portal were formally announced through Revenue Memorandum Circular No. 109-2026, which covers taxpayers classified as Large under the EOPT Act.
The circular describes the Taxpayer Portal as a secure digital platform that provides taxpayers with single-view online access to their tax information through a centralized taxpayer profile.
Under RMC No. 109-2026, Large Taxpayers may enroll in the TP Portal to view their registration information, monitor the status of filed tax returns by tax type or form type, track tax payments, view their Account Ledger by tax type or form type, and receive system generated notifications and tax reminders.
Taxpayers needing enrollment assistance, technical support, or corrections to taxpayer records reflected in their accounts may coordinate directly with their concerned Revenue District Office.
The rollout expansion builds on the pilot launch of the Taxpayer Portal for taxpayers registered under the Large Taxpayers Service (LTS) on May 26, 2026, at the BIR National Office in Quezon City.
“The expansion to the regions makes its digital services more accessible to Large Taxpayers across the country.”
BIR Commissioner Charlito Martin Mendoza said the expansion to the regions fulfills the Bureau’s commitment to extend the Taxpayer Portal beyond its pilot LTS implementation and make its digital services more accessible to Large Taxpayers across the country.
Mendoza thanked taxpayers for their patience and support as the Bureau developed, tested, and finetuned the portal for wider use.
“The expansion of the Taxpayer Portal to the regions also aligns with President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.’s directive to make government transactions easier and bring government services closer to the people. We have been working to translate that directive into concrete improvements and better services for our taxpayers,” he said.
The virtual launch brought together representatives of Large Taxpayers covered by the EOPT Act to learn about the Taxpayer Portal’s key features and capabilities.
The program featured a project overview, presentation of the portal’s key features and audiovisual presentations, followed by a live system walkthrough demonstrating how taxpayers can use the platform.
Commissioner Mendoza said the Taxpayer Portal forms part of the Bureau’s broader reform initiatives under BIR DARES, alongside the Registration Seal Badge for online businesses, the Electronic Invoicing System, eNotary and eDST, as well as the Bureau’s audit and regulatory reforms.
He emphasized that the Bureau will continue improving its services and simplifying its processes as it expands its digital initiatives.
“As we expand its reach, we are also working to improve our other services, simplify our processes, and make transacting with the BIR easier for you.”
“As you fulfill your responsibilities as taxpayers, we at the BIR must also do our part. The Taxpayer Portal is one part of that commitment. As we expand its reach, we are also working to improve our other services, simplify our processes, and make transacting with the BIR easier for you,” Mendoza said.
The Taxpayer Portal underscores the BIR’s commitment to building a more efficient, transparent, and taxpayer-centered tax administration system, consistent with the objectives of the EOPT Act and the Bureau’s ongoing digital transformation efforts.
