The Bureau of Customs – Port of Manila (BOC–POM), through its Auction and Cargo Disposal Division (ACDD), generated a total of ₱4,749,450.00 from two public auction sales conducted in July 2026, reinforcing the Bureau’s commitment to transparent disposal of seized and forfeited goods while contributing to the government’s non-traditional revenue collection.
In the first auction, held on July 14, 2026, two (2) sale lots consisting of whisky bottles, prefabricated house, and mobile food carts were successfully awarded to qualified bidders, generating ₱3,964,250 in proceeds through a competitive and transparent bidding process.
Meanwhile, during the second public auction conducted on July 30, 2026, one (1) sale lot—Sale Lot No. 128-2026, consisting of two (2) units of used truck-mounted aerial platforms—was successfully awarded, generating ₱785,200, inclusive of registration fees.
Commissioner Ariel Nepomuceno commended the Port of Manila for the successful conduct of the July public auctions.

The two auction activities were conducted in accordance with existing customs laws, rules, and regulations governing the disposal of seized and forfeited goods.
Both activities were carried out under the supervision of District Collector Rizalino Jose Torralba, ensuring compliance with established procedures and promoting transparency, accountability, and efficiency in customs operations.
Torralba emphasized the value of the auctions in turning disposed government assets into additional revenue.

The successful auctions reflect the Bureau’s commitment to transparent asset disposal and revenue generation, in line with President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.’s directive to promote government efficiency and accountability.
