“The construction of the 271.15-linear meter bridge along Sto. Niño to Lasam Road in Brgy. Namuccayan is presently at 85.45 percent completion, and is targeted to be completed by March 2024.”

With a total fund of P353 million, the Namuccayan Bridge involves the construction of a 2-lane bridge with a 3.66-meter carriageway on each side and a 1.11-meter sidewalk.

“Once completed, the project will serve as a critical link between the road networks from Sto. Niño to Lasam and Piat, promising a notable reduction of approximately one hour and 30 minutes in travel time,” Bonoan said.

The bridge is also expected to provide locals with better access to essential services, including schools, health facilities, and trade establishments in nearby areas.
