CAMANAVA HOSTS MMFF PARADE OF STARS 2023

Movie fans line up the streets in CAMANAVA (Caloocan, Malabon, Navotas, Valenzuela) to see their favorite celebrities aboard decorative floats during the 49th Metro Manila Film Festival Parade of Stars.

Ten floats of all movie entries traversed from Navotas Centennial Park and travelled for 8.7 kilometers, through C4, Samson Road, and Mc Arthur Highway up to the Valenzuela People’s Park where the meet and greet with the stars took place.

The Parade of Stars traversed four cities in Metro Manila which is the first time in the MMFF history.

MMDA Acting Chairman Atty. Don Artes, Navotas City Mayor John Rey Tiangco, Malabon City Mayor Jeannie Sandoval, and MMFF Selection Committee Head Boots Anson-Rodrigo struck the gong which signaled the start of the parade.

Artes, along with the mayors, encouraged the public to watch and support all the MMFF 2023 entries.

“Suportahan po natin ang pelikulang Pilipino.”

“Panoorin po natin ang sampung pelikulang kalahok sa 49th MMFF. Suportahan po natin ang pelikulang Pilipino,” they said.

Artes highlighted the diverse genre for this year’s movie line-up.

“Kung gusto ninyong matawa, may comedy. Mayroon ding drama, horror, at romance.”

“Siguradong siguradong magugustuhan ninyo ang 10 pelikulang kalahok. Kung gusto ninyong matawa, may comedy. Mayroon ding drama, horror, at romance,” he said to the cheering crowd.

Along the way, thousands of fans cheered and shouted the names of MMFF 2023 stars.
