DAVAO CITY BPO FIRM TO HIRE 5,000 EMPLOYEES

The largest business process outsourcing (BPO) employer in Davao City has unveiled its fifth site located in SP Dacudao Loop, Agdao, Davao Park District, and opened job opportunities to thousands of Dabawenyos.

Eppie Titong, the senior vice president and country manager of VXI Global Solutions, said as the largest employer in Davao Region, they are not only employing and providing livelihood to thousands of Dabawenyos but also contribute to the growth and development of the community at large.

“As the largest employer in Davao Region, we are not only employing and providing livelihood to thousands of Dabawenyos but also contribute to the growth and development of the community at large.”

For the new site, VXI is targeting to have manpower of at least 3,000 to 5,000 Dabawenyos.

“We are very proud of our achievements here in Davao. We cannot wait to grow our team even further with the launch of this new site in the Davao Finance Center,” Titong added.

VXI is currently the largest employer in the region with more than 7,000 employees in existing sites at SM Ecoland, Felcris Centrale, Robinsons Cybergate, and Robinsons Cybergate Delta.

The Davao City Investment Promotion Center (DCIPC) has recently recognized VXI for its outstanding contributions to the success of the city’s economic development programs.

The unveiling of the new site was graced by Davao City Councilor Bernie Al-ag representing Davao City Mayor Sebastian Duterte and members of the VXI Executive Team.

Duterte said VXI is a great partner to the Davao government and lauded its consistent growth throughout the years.

“VXI is one of the first BPO companies who believed in the talent of Dabawenyos and we are in full support of their expansion as they showcase local capabilities at the world stage,” Duterte added.

“Davao is a key part of the BPO industry, especially for VXI.”

Meanwhile, Jared Morrison, VXI’s chief operating officer, said Davao is a key part of the BPO industry, especially for VXI, and he is optimistic that the region would grow even further in the next few years.

“In our nearly 10 years operating in Davao, the passion of Dabawenyos for customer service is something we can truly rely on. We are also very thankful for the support of the local government for allowing us to set up world-class operations in this amazing location,” Morrison concluded.
