Balboa reiterated the importance of establishing a good command structure and leadership for all health officials to effectively aid affected individuals during this unprecedented time.

“Avoid unnecessary going out of homes, and closing the doors and windows especially if you are living near the caldera.”

The DOH also reminds the general public to take the necessary precautionary measures such as avoiding unnecessary going out of homes, and closing the doors and windows especially if you are living near the caldera.

Wearing a face mask and protective gears for your eyes, and coverings for your skin are also advisable to remain safe during volcanic activities and eruptions.
