The Department of Tourism (DOT) launched dedicated microsites for its newest Tourism Ambassadors, BINI and SB19, reimagining how audiences around the world can discover the Philippines through the artists they know and love.
This release follows back-to-back teasers posted on Tourism Philippines’ social media accounts, which set off a wave of excitement among BLOOMs and A’TIN, the dedicated fanbases of BINI and SB19.
In less than 24 hours, these posts had already generated more than a hundred thousand engagements on Facebook alone.
The microsites feature the dream destinations of each member, paired with special discounted travel packages for these locations, offered exclusively through DOT-accredited partners via the tourism.gov.ph website.
They also allow fans to engage directly with their idols through interactive features. For BINI, BLOOMs may submit #BloomTrails, showcasing their own photos and captions of their favorite destinations or of the girls’ dream destinations. For SB19, A’TIN may write short dedication messages paired with their favorite song from the Mahalima.
According to Tourism Secretary Dita Angara-Mathay, this new endeavor from DOT reinforces that Filipino talent goes beyond its ability to draw fanfare.
“This kind of influence is particularly valuable for us in tourism, where a person’s interest contributes to the local economy.”
“Pinoy talents like BINI and SB19 are very much able to influence audiences, drive travel, and generate real economic activity wherever they go. This kind of influence is particularly valuable for us in tourism, where a person’s interest contributes to the local economy,” Angara-Mathay said.
“A fan who travels to see an artist may also stay in a hotel, eat at local restaurants, explore nearby attractions or discover a destination for the first time. Each trip creates an opportunity for tourism spending to reach the businesses and communities that make those experiences possible,” the tourism chief explained.

The microsites form part of the second phase of the Discover More To Love domestic tourism campaign, launched in June 2026. The campaign aims to stimulate domestic travel by making tourism more accessible to Filipinos through discounted fares, hotel rates, and attraction fees.
Beyond encouraging more Filipinos to explore the country, Discover More To Love seeks to strengthen demand across the tourism value chain by supporting airlines, hotels, tour operators, attractions, and other tourism stakeholders as they navigate the continuing impact of elevated international fuel costs. By driving domestic demand, the campaign helps sustain tourism activity and keep its economic benefits circulating within the country, particularly in the provinces.
Since the respective announcements of their ambassadorship, the two P-Pop groups have closely partnered with the DOT in promoting Philippine destinations across their engagements locally and abroad.
The Department, in turn, has been promoting the groups’ recent activities as they carry the Filipino flag on the world stage. This includes BINI’s ongoing Signals World Tour, SB19’s debut at the Lollapalooza stage, and both groups’ upcoming performances at the Summer Sonic Music Festival in Japan.
As people become more intentional about where they go and how they spend, the DOT hopes this initiative will encourage everyone to look closer to home.
