DPWH ASSURES PNP CALABARZON OF INFRASTRUCTURE SUPPORT – VILLAR

Public Works and Highways Secretary Mark Villar has assured the Police Regional Office (PRO) 4A (Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal and Quezon) that it would boost the morale of its personnel and its operation through infrastructure support.

Villar recently inspected the ongoing construction of facilities under the convergence program between the DPWH and the PNP inside Camp Vicente P. Lim in Calamba, Laguna.

The Public Works chief was guest of honor and speaker in the flag raising ceremony of the PRO 4A.

“I commend the brave men and women of PNP Region 4 for the dedication as public servants to secure our people’s safety.”

Villar took the opportunity to commend the brave men and women of PNP Region 4, from its generals led by Police Brigadier General Vicente D. Danao Jr. down to the police officers and non-uniformed staff for their dedication as public servants in securing public safety.

Villar reminded the officers and personnel of PRO 4 to always bear in mind the Philippine National Police (PNP) motto of “Service, Honor, and Justice”.

Among the support infrastructure projects now being built by the DPWH and were inspected by Villar at Camp Vicente Lim were the P75.4 million, 5-storey Police Commissioned Officer’s Quarter 1 Building; the P11.6 million, 2-storey Regional Police Security and Protection Units and Presidential Protection Division building; and the rehabilitation of the camp’s grandstand in the amount of P11.6 million.
