DPWH BEGINS DINGALAN PORT FLOOD CONTROL PROJECT

The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) is building a flood control structure inside the Dingalan Feeder Port in Barangay Paltic in Dingalan, Aurora.

DPWH Secretary Manuel Bonoan said that the DPWH Aurora District Engineering Office (DEO) is overseeing the construction of the P47.53-million project for optimal protection against coastal flooding.

Target for completion by March 2023, the flood control structure will complement the existing concrete seawall at the feeder port in protecting residents from flooding and rising sea levels, especially during the typhoon season.
