DPWH FINISHES FARM-TO-MARKET ROAD IN CAGAYAN

The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) completed a new farm-to-market road (FMR) in the town of Enrile, Cagayan, providing local farmers ease of transport and access to major trading centers in the Cagayan Valley Region.

Secretary Manuel Bonoan said that the new 1.46-kilometer concrete road with three-barrel box culvert as drainage in Barangay Liwan Sur is expected to provide faster and safer route for farmers to transport their produce and farm goods to market centers and nearby municipalities of Solana and Tuguegarao City.

With a total allocation of ₱11.8 million, the road project was implemented by the DPWH Cagayan Third District Engineering Office headed by OIC District Engineer Mariano Malupeng.
