DPWH FINISHES NEW ROAD IN TALAVERA, NUEVA ECIJA

The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) recently completed the construction of a road that facilitates better access to Barangay Homestead in Talavera, Nueva Ecija.

DPWH Secretary Manuel Bonoan, citing a report from DPWH Regional Office 3 Director Roseller Tolentino, said that the DPWH Nueva Ecija First District Engineering Office (DEO) paved 2.55-kilometer road in the community.

The newly-constructed road connects Barangay Homestead to the nearby Talavera Bypass Road, which is an alternate road that diverts vehicular traffic from the busy Daang Maharlika.

“Local farmers will be able to easily transport their agricultural products to market centers in Talavera town.”

“With the completion of the P28.42-million road concreting project, micro-entrepreneurs will have more opportunities and local farmers will be able to easily transport their agricultural products to market centers in Talavera town,” Tolentino explained.
