DPWH FINISHES ROAD, BUILDING IN ANGAT, BULACAN

The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) has completed the concrete paving of road and construction of a multi-purpose building (MPB) in Angat, Bulacan.

In his report to DPWH Secretary Manuel Bonoan, DPWH Regional Office 3 Director Roseller Tolentino identified the completed projects as the newly-paved road in Barangay Donacion and a newly-built MPB in Barangay Marungko.

The paved road in Barangay Donacion, with a length of 715 lineal meters and a width of three meters, supports farmers by enhancing the transport of agricultural products from farmlands to market centers in Bulacan.

With the road connectivity, residents of Barangay Donacion also gain better access to essential government services offered within and outside their community.

The building constructed in Barangay Marungko serves as the community’s new barangay hall for the delivery of essential social services to the locality.

Meanwhile, the MPB constructed in Barangay Marungko serves as the community’s new barangay hall for the delivery of essential social services to the locality.

The 59.48-square-meter, two-storey barangay hall was designed to accommodate activities and events.

Implemented by the DPWH Bulacan Second District Engineering Office (DEO), the projects cost a total of P12.62 million with funding sourced from the 2023 General Appropriations Act (GAA).
