“Beyond mere road improvement, this project is a multifaceted approach that coincidingly boosts cultural and commercial exchange,” Tan said.

“By providing better access to local businesses, the improved road delivers substantial economic benefits and opportunities to the communities,” the public works official added.

The road further plays a crucial role in facilitating the delivery of agricultural products in the area including rice, corn, tobacco, and others, aiding farmers in reaching markets and distribution centers efficiently.

Funded in the amount of P9.8 Million under the 2023 General Appropriations Act (GAA), the completed project was implemented by DPWH Ilocos Sur 2nd District Engineering Office.
