I PRAYED FOR THE SUCCESS OF ALL HNP CANDIDATES – SARA DUTERTE

Presidential daughter and Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte led a sortie in Santiago City, Isabela, to pitch for senatorial candidates being endorsed by her regional party, Hugpong ng Pagbabago (HNP).

She also took advantage of the trip to enjoy the sights of Isabela, particularly its old churches.

The younger Duterte said she took a spiritual journey in the province, located in the northern Philippines, and traveled 400 kilometers on her Yamaha XSR900 big bike from Laoag City in Ilocos Norte to this city.

“I took a spiritual journey in Isabela.”

She then wooed voters’ support for the HNP candidates at a rally at the Four Lanes terminal in Malvar village.

When asked of her motorcycle ride on her bike which she calls “Ella,” the Davao City mayor told local media that it was fun.

“It was memorable and fun. I enjoyed it,” said Duterte, who is also Hugpong ng Pagbabago chairperson.

Duterte said she left Laoag at 6 a.m. and stopped at seven churches along the way, including some in Cagayan province, and arrived at Santiago City at about noontime. She described her trip as a “lasting experience.”

“I sought God’s help for the victory of the Hugpong bets.”

While at the churches, the Davao City mayor said personal prayers for the victory of the Hugpong party bets at the polls.

“I prayed for the success of all the candidates (of HNP),” she said.

The HNP rally drew some 6,000 people at the venue.

Former presidential political adviser Francis Tolentino, Maguindanao Rep. Zajid Mangudadatu, and former journalist Jiggy Manicad were present at the rally.

Other candidates sent representatives.
