I SUPPORT BONG GO’S SENATORIAL BID – MARAÑON

Former Special Assistant to the President (SAP) Bong Go has found a supporter in Negros Occidental Governor Alfredo Marañon Jr.

Marañon has announced his endorsement of Go’s senatorial bid along with three reelectionists in the coming May 13 midterm polls.

“Bong Go. He can really help us since President Rodrigo Duterte still has three years left. He’s close to the President so he can tell the President our problems,” the governor said in their vernacular.

Aside from Go, Marañon said he is also supporting the bids of incumbent Senators Grace Poe, Cynthia Villar, and Sonny Angara. In addition, Marañon is also giving his support to Mar Roxas who has roots in Negros Occidental.

“I am also supporting incumbent Senators Grace Poe, Cynthia Villar, and Sonny Angara.”

In September last year, Go opened the Malasakit Center at the Corazon Locsin Montelibano Memorial Regional Hospital in Bacolod City.

Silay City Mayor Mark Golez is also showing his support for Go. Golez was thanked by Go for the fair implementation of laws and ordinances that resulted in the removal at the city plaza last December of a tarpaulin with Go’s name.

The President’s former aide then said he had no idea who placed the tarpaulin which read: “Maligayang Pasko from SAP Bong Go.” He later learned that Golez who had the tarpaulin placed at his private property to express his support.
