Fresh from his triumphant first-round Technical Knockout (TKO) victory over Argentine boxer Tobias Reyes in the International Boxing Federation (IBF) World Flyweight Title Eliminator held in Argentina, IBF Mandatory World Title Challenger Miel Fajardo, together with his team, paid a courtesy visit to Games and Amusements Board (GAB) Chairman Francisco Rivera at the GAB Central Office in Makati City.
Rivera welcomed the team and expressed admiration for Fajardo’s display of Filipino warrior spirit.

This stunning victory makes the Filipino boxer the mandatory challenger for the IBF World Title.
Fajardo will face the winner of the upcoming bout in Japan on June 6, 2026 between IBF Flyweight Champion Masamichi Yabuki and Mexican boxer Rene Calixto.
