Short performances were showcased depicting the rich history of Iloilo, as reflected by the province’s new tourism slogan, “Fun, Foodie, Friendly Iloilo.”

“The Iloilo Provincial Government will be the first to manage and facilitate the Kasadyahan Festival 2024.”

Iloilo City Mayor Jerry Treñas said that the Iloilo Provincial Government will be the first to manage and facilitate the Kasadyahan Festival 2024, which is now rebranded as Kasadyahan sa Kabanwahanan Festival.

It has been an integral part of the Dinagyang Festival, which has become a traditional platform to showcase the vibrant and diverse culture of Iloilo.

“Madamo gid nga salamat kag panginbuhalan sa aton Iloilo Provincial Government under Gov. Toto Defensor for taking a step forward with much stronger support and commitment in our efforts to showcase and deliver the best Dinagyang and Kasadyahan festivals ever,” Treñas said.

“It is time to take a collective stride forward and bring the city and province to greater heights.”

“For me, it’s indeed the time, now more than ever, to level up our meaningful collaborations as one Iloilo, bound by our people, resources, faith, culture, and tradition; take a collective stride forward; and bring the city and province to greater heights,” the mayor stressed.

“Let us work together towards greatness with the ‘Fun Foodie Friendly Iloilo’ and let ‘Our Hearts Beat’ in Iloilo City!” he added.
