ISKO MORENO RETURNS TO BATAAN FOR LISTENING TOUR

Aksyon Demokratiko presidential bet Manila Mayor Isko Moreno returned to Bataan on Wednesday to consult local leaders and fisherfolks.

Moreno, who worked in the rice fields and gravel pits of Pilar town, visited Balanga and the towns of Pilar and Mariveles.

After his consultation with the fisherfolks in Pilar, Moreno visited the municipal hall of Mariveles to meet with various groups in the town.

Aside from his experience as a laborer in the province, he said one of his grandparents is buried in Bataan. His mother’s guardian also hails from the province.

Kaya hindi na kayo iba sa akin,” Moreno said during his courtesy call at the Bataan Provincial Capitol in Balanga.

The 47-year-old mayor said Manila’s deep relationship with Bataan originated from their common experiences during World War II.

Meanwhile, Bataan Governor Albert Garcia thanked Moreno for assisting the province amid the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

After his consultation with the fisherfolks in Pilar, Moreno visited the municipal hall of Mariveles to meet with various groups in the town.

Sinusurvey ko yung katayuan ninyo, hinaing ninyo, pangarap ninyo. From there, I will pick it up and we will create an economic policy,” Moreno said.
