LAGMAN TO FIX PROBLEMS IN ALBAY GOV’T HOSPITALS

Governor Edcel “Grex” Lagman will call a meeting with all the chiefs of hospitals in the province of Albay.

This is after Lagman headed the visit to Cagraray District Hospital, Cagraray Island, Bacacay, Albay recently, unannounced, to check the situation of the government-run primary health centers and rural hospitals, healthcare workers, and patients in the province.

Lagman discovered a lack of oxygen tanks, a lack of water supply, and even noticed the absence of the assigned doctors.

During the course of the surprise visit, the governor discovered a lack of oxygen tanks, a lack of water supply, and even noticed the absence of the assigned doctors when he inspected different sections of the health institution.

To his dismay with the present situation of the hospitals in the province, he will meet with concerned officials and doctors to address the long-time concerns of the patients and hospitals, especially in the rural areas.

“I made the visit to take a first-hand appraisal of the medical facilities being provided to patients in all government hospitals in Albay.”

In his message, Lagman said that his visit was made to take a first-hand appraisal of the medical facilities being provided to patients in all government hospitals in Albay.

In line with this, he urged the doctors to work and add dedication to providing the best possible treatment and medical facilities, ensuring that patients receive the highest standard of medical care.

Lagman also pledged to purchase the equipment and machinery needed in the hospitals, including adequate stocks of medicines.
