LAS PIÑAS GOV’T GIVES RICE RETAILERS CASH AID

In a timely response to the rising prices of rice in the country, Las Piñas Mayor Imelda Aguilar took a decisive stand to safeguard the city’s small-scale rice retailers, traders, and vendors.

Under her leadership, the City Agriculture Office, in conjunction with the City Social Welfare and Development Office, distributed P15,000 in cash assistance to 139 deserving beneficiaries.

The event took place at the Las Piñas City Cafe where Aguilar stressed her commitment to local business and community welfare.

“The city government is in the process of developing a more comprehensive plan to support local rice traders and vendors.”
