MALASAKIT LIVELIHOOD CENTER OPENS IN NCRPO HQ – GO

The National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) inaugurated its ‘Malasakit Livelihood Training Center’ aimed at bringing government services closer to Filipinos.

NCRPO chief, Maj. Gen. Vicente Danao, along with Labor Secretary Silvestre Bello III and Social Welfare and Development Secretary Rolando Bautista led the ceremony at the NCRPO headquarters in Camp Bagong Diwa, Taguig City.

“More than just preserving peace and order in Metro Manila, we also aim to help the less fortunate.”

“More than just preserving peace and order in Metro Manila, we also aim to help the less fortunate, especially those who were greatly affected by the pandemic. I hope that this project will help provide better services to our kababayans,” Danao said.

Senator Bong Go, who virtually graced the event, said this initiative is a fulfillment of President Rodrigo Duterte’s promise of a better quality of life for the people.

“Ang mga inisyatibong ito ay sumisimbolo ng pag-asa sa ating mga kababayan nais magkaroon ng pagkakataong magbagong buhay.”

“Ang mga inisyatibong ito ay sumisimbolo ng pag-asa sa ating mga kababayan nais magkaroon ng pagkakataong magbagong buhay (These initiatives symbolize hopes for our kababayans who want to have a chance for a better life),” Go said in his message.

We thank those who continue to patronize these programs because, for me and President Duterte, every Filipino needs to be a part of the government’s steps towards progress. This is the time for us to help each other, practice civic unity and show compassion to our fellow Filipinos because after all, it is us Filipinos who will help each other),” the legislator added.

The Malasakit Center will provide much-needed job and livelihood training to beneficiaries to help them sustain their families’ needs amid the pandemic.

In the same event, NCRPO officials and other officials of government agencies led the Duterte Legacy Barangayanihan Caravan that benefited more than 2,000 former members of CTG Affected Mass Organizations (CAMOs).

Likewise, Bautista led the oath of allegiance of the 1,000 former CAMOs members who pledged to renounce their membership and the false causes and ideology peddled by the Communist Party of the Philippines-New People’s Army (CPP-NPA) and vowed allegiance to the government.

As the highlight of the event, Danao, Bello, and Bautista led the distribution of livelihood packages.
