The Provincial Government of Masbate thru Governor Antonio “Tony” Kho donated P2 million to help Albay’s Mayon Operations.
The turnover of donation was held during the flag-raising last Monday within the vicinity of the Albay Capitol.
On behalf of the Masbate Governor, their Provincial Treasurer Eduardo Arcenas personally handed the cheque to Albay Governor Edcel Greco Lagman and Albay’s Provincial Treasurer, Mayflor Atos-Deang.
“I will equitably distribute this amount to all the affected LGUs of the Mayon seismic activity.”
“Maraming salamat po, Governor Tony Kho of Masbate, for your two million-donation to the province of Albay. I will equitably distribute this amount to all the affected LGUs of the Mayon seismic activity,” Lagman said, expressing his gratitude on his Facebook page.
The province of Masbate comes fourth on the list of benefactors with monetary donations allotted for Mayon operations expenses.
