MMDA FIELD WORKERS REHYDRATE WITH SPORTS DRINK

In recognition of their duties especially during this humid season, field personnel of the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) received a donation of sports drink and physical fitness lecture to keep them fit and hydrated.

The initiative is in support of the agency’s anti-heat stroke break for its on-duty traffic personnel, street sweepers, and all other field personnel who work under the summer season’s searing heat and protect them from heat-related illnesses.

MMDA Chairman Romando Artes expressed gratitude to Otsuka-Solar Philippines for its donation of ion supply drinks and lectures on physical fitness training and highlighted the importance of proper hydration to the agency’s field personnel.

“This donation would help them beat the heat as they perform their duties.”
