MMDA TRAFFIC ENFORCERS GET FREE SUNGLASSES – ARTES

The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) has received a donation of Essilor sunglasses for its traffic enforcers in recognition of their duties, especially during the dry season.

MMDA Chairman Romando Artes said the donation from the Essilor Vision Foundation was initiated by former MMDA Chairman Benhur Abalos who chaired the agency for a year.

During the turnover, Artes thanked the Essilor Vision Foundation for their donation, which would benefit the traffic personnel who work under the hot sun.

“We thank the Essilor Vision Foundation for supporting our on-duty traffic personnel.”

Along with their sunglasses, the MMDA also distributed caps to alleviate the discomfort and potential health hazards posed by the summer heat.
