MORE THAN 50K PINOYS GET P350-M PCSO MEDICAL AID

More than 50,000 Filipinos have benefited from more than P350 million in medical assistance extended by the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office for the second quarter of this year, the agency announced.

For the first quarter of this year, the PCSO released P410,427,957.55 through the MAP to help  60,779 Filipinos.

The figures, which are posted on the PCSO website and social media account, are from April 3 to June 23.

Cua touted the agency’s continued role in helping Filipino families cover the steep cost of illness.

He also highlighted the role that the people play in helping PCSO’s beneficiaries.

He also vowed that the agency would continue to work hard to fulfill its mandate and to be a “compassionate face” of the Marcos administration.

“We are working under direct orders from Pres. Ferdinand Marcos, Jr. to help as much and as many of our fellow Filipinos as we can. We will try our best to be a compassionate face of this administration, one among many others who serve not just with the mind but with the heart,” Cua said.
