MOVE IT AND BURN IT

We have been moving for as long as we can remember. To move is one of the things that make us human, movement, a physical and visual reminder that we exist — that we are alive.

Movement also keeps the body healthy and ensures its capacity to function, not just physically. The body also plays an important part in our emotions, learning, and relationships. It is deeply engaged in all of our mental processes, comprehension, emotions, and decision-making.

Capacity Check through Exercise!

Regular physical exercise can help you gain muscle strength and endurance. Exercise helps your cardiovascular system operate more efficiently by delivering oxygen and nutrients to your tissues. And when your heart and lung health improve, you will have more energy to do everyday tasks.

Dislike exercising?

Don’t worry about it! Small movements also have a big influence on your physical and emotional health. Moving every day has the ability to enhance every area of your body, from your brain to your joints. But this means you will need to still put an effort to move your body from time to time. Stretch it out, walk a bit every 30 minutes. Increasing your regular movement can aid in the improvement of your overall health.

What if I need more than just small movements?

If you feel like you need to move more, or really start exercising but are too intimidated to do it, I recommend dancing. Dancing is fun and it’s a good way to start getting your body used to exercising. It helps engage your body and mind in the activity. Overall, it helps improve your balance and coordination.

Depending on the steps, you can also choose how intense it would be or which areas you want to focus on. You can get aerobic exercise by integrating twirls and jumps into your routine. You can also integrate squats into the steps.

You can also do these workouts with very little or no equipment at all. No need to invest in those expensive clothes as well, because you can wear anything you want as long as you can move comfortably in it!

You can also explore different choreographies and dance to the songs that you love to listen to. Don’t worry if you can’t follow all the steps right away. Just remember that the goal is ultimately to get your body used to heavy movements before you start with more complex choreographies or move to other types of workouts. What’s important is that you also have fun with it!
