OVP SATELLITE OFFICES GIVE MEDICAL, BURIAL AID

The Office of Vice President (OVP) through its satellite offices has started providing medical and burial assistance to people in need.

Atty. Reynold Munsayac, the vice-presidential spokesperson, said the satellite offices offer medical and burial assistance that can be availed through partner hospitals or direct walk-in applications.

To avail themselves of the medical and burial assistance, Munsayac said the applicants must complete the prescribed requirements indicated in the application form at their offices.

He said the OVP satellite offices will not be limited to remote areas as Vice President Sara Duterte plans to open more to reach more Filipinos throughout the country.

The OVP satellite offices are now operational in Dagupan, Cebu, Tacloban, Zamboanga, Davao City and Tandag in Surigao del Sur.

Munsayac said the OVP’s medical and burial assistance programs are funded as subsidies under the Annual General Appropriations Act.

“The establishment of satellite offices all over the country will help people outside Metro Manila, particularly those living in remote areas, get easier access to social services.”
