P220-M INFRA PROGRAM UNVEILED IN QC’S DISTRICT 2

Quezon City Rep. Precious Hipolito Castelo and her husband Quezon City District 2 Councilor Winnie Castelo have unveiled an infrastructure program worth P220-million in the city’s  2nd District.

The program consists of the concreting of major roads, the improvement of drainage and canal systems, school buildings, multi-purpose halls, and similar projects.

“Public works projects like roads, drainage systems and school buildings provide jobs and livelihood to our constituents. Build roads and economic activity follows,”

The roads include Kalayaan St., Session Road, Katuparan St., BF Road, and other busy thoroughfares. Rep. Castelo and Councilor Castelo recently inspected the concreting and drainage improvement of Don Damaso St. in Barangay Holy Spirit.

Councilor Castelo said the projects were chosen “based on the number of people that would be benefited.”

“Public works projects like roads, drainage systems and school buildings provide jobs and livelihood to our constituents. Build roads and economic activity follows,” he said.

He said the projects were financed out of Rep. Castelo’s infrastructure fund allocation and the city’s infrastructure budget.
