PH RED CROSS DEPLOYS WATER TANKERS TO CATANDUANES

More than 12,000 residents of Virac, Catanduanes are assured of having supply of clean drinking water.

The Philippine Red Cross is addressing the ongoing water shortage in 12 barangays of the municipality through the deployment of water tankers and water bladders.

“We are prepared to deploy our water tankers to supply water to most critical establishment.”

Two water tankers, both with 12,000-liter capacity and five units of water bladders, four with 10,000-liter and one with 5,000-liter capacity, are in the area.

There is also an ongoing set-up of a water treatment/production site at Brgy. Pajo, San Isidro.

“We are always ready for any situation,” he added.

According to Gordon, the PRC is guided by the principles of 4Ps: “Predict, Plan, Prepare, Practice” in all its operations.
