PRC LAUNCHES 1ST VIRTUAL VOLUNTEER RUN – GORDON

The Philippine Red Cross (PRC) partners with RUNRIO to launch its International Humanitarian Million Volunteer Run 6: Bike and Run edition which aims to raise funds to continue the different humanitarian initiatives of PRC’s COVID-19 operations.

The first-ever virtual run and bike edition will have different categories; for the run, it will have 10km, 21km, 50km, and 100km, while the Bike edition will have 25km, 100km, 500km, and 1000km targeting different audiences.

The registration fee costs P585 for either the bike and run editions.

For both editions, the registration fee is P1,085. It includes e-entitlements and a raffle ticket for exciting prizes.

“We are launching the first-ever Virtual Million Volunteer Run: Bike and Run Edition to allow the different chapters to fund their services to fight COVID-19,” PRC Chairman and CEO Senator Dick Gordon said.

Due to the continuing global pandemic, this year’s MVR will be innovative, not to mention safe for all interested participants.

The PRC Million Volunteer Run 6: Virtual Bike and Run Edition is a virtual fun duathlon for cyclists and runners.

It is an event that allows participants to finish their selected distance within a certain period, at their own pace, time, and venue.
