PROJECT RECOGNIZES INITIATIVE-LED ORGANIZATIONS

In a time of crisis and need, people rise above and do what they can to survive. Sometimes these people do more just rise above. They pick up others who are in need and strive to alleviate them. They do this and expect nothing in return. They are unsung heroes who work silently for different causes. It’s time to notice their initiatives.

Notice the Notion is Krya’s Work to Learn Dream Team’s initiative to recognize these heroes who dedicate their time, effort, and sometimes money to helping other people survive and live a good life despite the pandemic. This is our way of saluting these initiatives, and a way to gather support for their causes.

In order to do these, we have gathered four organizations across Southeast Asia who are pursuing projects despite the pandemic. The project will be in two parts: Social media coverage, and a magazine.

In order to do these, we have gathered four organizations across Southeast Asia who are pursuing projects despite the pandemic. The project will be in two parts: Social media coverage, and a magazine.

The social media campaign included a four-part series of live interviews with representatives from these organizations called “Note the Talk.” In the interviews, organizations were given the chance to talk about their causes, what they’re doing and how others can support them in their causes. The interviews were done on Instagram live on August 21 and 23 at 7 P.M. GMT+7  (8 PM Philippine Time).

Meanwhile, the booklet launch will be on August 28, and will be accessible to all. The magazine is intended to further help the public understand the origins and advocacies of the organizations and will also serve as a directory for people who want to connect with them.

By having organizations like these we are reminded that despite the bad things happening in the world, there are still good things to look forward to. It’s about time that we notice the great thing, and take note of their notions. Who knows, maybe one day, we will also help them in their causes?
