PSA CIVIL REGISTRY SYSTEM OUTLET OPENS IN SAMAR

Samar Governor Sharee Ann Tan joined the Philippine Statistics Authority in the launching of the Catbalogan CRS Outlet at PSA Samar, Brgy. Mercedes, Catbalogan City recently.

The enhanced Catbalogan CRS Outlet is under the Civil Registry System-Information Technology Project Phase 2 (CRS-ITP2), a Public-Private Partnership (PPP) Project of the Philippine Statistics Authority and the Unisys Managed Services, Inc. (Unisys), that provides an enhanced CRS system with improved accessibility and security features for better and quality service of the outlet.

“We are so privileged to have this kind of technology here in Samar, as it will really ease the burden of securing civil registry documents.”

“It will boost the activities in the area, thereby uplifting the economy.” 

The lady governor also emphasized the impact of having the CRS outlet in Samar, as it will boost the activities in the area, thereby uplifting the economy. 

She was also among the first clients of the enhanced CRS Outlet, who received her civil registry document in a significantly shorter period of time, as compared to the previous processing of documents.

Meanwhile, Samar Chief Statistical Specialist Riza Moraleta, expressed her gratitude to the governor for the unwavering support of the province. 

She likewise encouraged everyone to maximize the use of the new and efficient facility.
