QC HOLDS CLEANUP DRIVE AFTER ELECTIONS – BELMONTE

Quezon City Mayor Joy Belmonte has ordered the Department of Sanitation and Cleanup Works of Quezon City (DSQC) in cooperation with the city’s 142 barangays to conduct a massive clean-up drive as soon as precincts conclude their election-related activities.

 DSQC OIC Richard Santuile has been given instructions to closely work with barangay leaders and begin cleanup operations as soon as possible.

“This is meant to ensure that election paraphernalia will be disposed of properly and not clog the city’s waterways,”

“Kailangan nating masiguro na mabilis at maingat nating maililigpit ang mga campaign paraphernalia at hindi maging sanhi ng anumang problema sa ating lungsod,” the lady mayor added.

Both local and national candidates are also enjoined to voluntarily remove their campaign posters and paraphernalia to ensure that we keep our city clean and orderly.
