ROAD PROJECT COMPLETED IN TARLAC TOWN – VILLAR

Residents, especially farmers, no longer have to endure unpaved and muddy roads especially during the rainy season with the completion of a concrete road project in Concepcion, Tarlac.

Secretary Mark Villar said that the DPWH Tarlac Second District Engineering Office has completed the 1.2-kilometer road that now connects Barangays San Isidro and Sitio Kabayung Sarul.

Prior to the construction of the project, residents have no choice but to walk every day or ride carabao-driven carriages.

Prior to the construction of the P14.8-million project, residents have no choice but to walk every day or ride carabao-driven carriages as motorized vehicles can’t pass through.

Villar commended DPWH Tarlac Second DEO for the swift completion of the project which started last November 2020.

“With this two-lane concrete road, people and even motorized vehicles can now pass by and enjoy shorter travel time, greatly increasing their access to social services and faster transport of local products,” the public works chief concluded.
