SAMAR GOVERNOR TAN REAFFIRMS COMMITMENT TO PEACE

Samar Governor Sharee Ann Tan pledged her commitment to ensure lasting peace in the province as she visited the Samar Police Provincial Office (SPPO).

“Rest assured that the provincial government, together with the two legislative districts under the leadership Congressman Jimboy Tan, and Congressman Reynolds Michael Tan, will always support your endeavors,” Tan said in her message. 

“We will strive to have a seamless collaboration, between the government and the SPPO, to maintain the peace and order in the province,” the lady governor added.

She also challenged the police officers to improve everyone’s emotional quotient and social capabilities.

“There is a need for uniformed personnel to be sociable and interact well with the community to have a good working relationship with them.”

On the other hand, SPPO Provincial Director Peter Uy Limbauan, highlighted the accomplishments of the province.

Limbauan stressed how everyone contributed to the good performance of the provincial office.

“I couldn’t do it alone, it only goes to show that everyone worked hard.”

“Christmas is the time for contemplating our accomplishments, on what we have done the whole year. I couldn’t do it alone, it only goes to show that everyone worked hard,” he shared. 

The members of the Provincial Advisory Group for Police Transformation and Development likewise joined the gathering. They represent the different sectors of society and acts as advisers of the police force to ensure a highly capable, credible and effective police service.
